PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Tropical Storm Bret weakened Tuesday to a tropical wave after forming Monday east of the Windward Islands.
Bret is the second named storm of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season.

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, the system was located about 115 miles east of Curacao in the Caribbean Sea. It was moving west-northwest at 22 mph with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
