PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – It will be a soggy Cinco De Mayo Monday as much of South Florida is under a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms.
The main threats are damaging wind gusts, hail and flooding. A tornado or two can’t be ruled out.
Thunderstorms are expected to impact the area between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Localized urban flooding is possible again Monday across the East Coast metro. High-end rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible.
Drier air starts to return to the area Tuesday.
