April 4: High rip current risk, breezy conditions continue across South Florida through Easter weekend

High pressure remains the dominant weather feature across South Florida, continuing to drive hazardous easterly winds and a high rip current risk through the weekend. Strong onshore winds will also push showers inland, so a few passing showers cannot be ruled out tonight. Lows will fall into the lower 70s.

Easter Sunday is shaping up to be warm across South Florida. It will not be a washout, but a few isolated showers are possible throughout the day. Expect a high near 83 degrees.

A cold front is on the move. While temperatures will not drop significantly, much-needed rain is expected, especially on Tuesday.
