It is a warm start to May with lows in the 70s and calm winds. The winds are moving in from the south south-west this morning which will result in temperatures heating up. We will feel the hottest day of the year later today as highs reach the 90s. The heat will possibly be flirting with records tomorrow, as heat indices reach the 100s. So far this year, the warmest high we have had has been 88 degrees. The heat starts off the first few days of May. The smoke and haze from the fire burning near U.S. 41 will slowly start to move to inland parts of Miami-Dade. Get ready for rain returning by Sunday as a boundary will be moving in, bringing soaking showers and storms into next week. Have a great weekend.
