New tropical depression forms in Atlantic

New tropical depression is not presently a threat to South Florida

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Hurricane season isn't over until the end of November.

Meteorologists were now watching a new tropical depression near the Cabo Verdo Islands late Thursday night

If it strengthens, it could become Tropical Storm Lee, the 14th of the season.

The National Hurricane Center is also watching a second wave in the central Atlantic that could also become a tropical depression next week.

Tropical Storm Jose was likely going to regain intensity and turn toward the northwest. Neither of these were a threat to South Florida.
