FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A waterspout was spotted Friday morning off the coast of Fort Lauderdale.
Sky 10 spotted the waterspout near Port Everglades in the Atlantic Ocean.
"This is associated with a couple of thunderstorms and showers and cumulus clouds that have been offshore," Local 10 News meteorologist Jennifer Correa said.
Twin waterspouts formed at one point.
Several boats could be seen in the ocean as the waterspouts churned above the water.
"Boaters beware," Correa said.
