Man detained in Miramar Dunkin’ after chase through Miami-Dade and Broward
MIRAMAR, Fla. – A man was detained at a Dunkin’ shop in Miramar after a police chase that weaved through streets in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, authorities say. We passed that information along to police, and within minutes, armed Miramar officers barged into the business. “Miramar Police Department officers determined that the person involved in the altercation [in Dunkin’] was the same subject that fled from the Miami-Dade Police Department detectives,” Det. Robber hits Chase bank in Kendall, FBI says
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – A robber entered a Chase bank in Kendall and took an undisclosed amount of money Thursday. The FBI released photographs from the robbery that took place at approximately 1:30 p.m. at a Chase Bank branch located at 13745 Southwest 152 St. According to the FBI, there were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery, but there were no injuries. Police: Chase starts in Hallandale Beach ends in Hollywood after driver spotted in stolen car
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A Thursday evening chase started in Hallandale Beach and ended in Hollywood after a driver was spotted inside a stolen car, police said. The driver of the stolen car sideswiped a police car on the passenger side at 21st Avenue and Jackson Street in Hollywood, police said. Ra Shana Dabney-Donovan, a spokesperson for the Hallandale Beach Police Department, the chase ended at Sheridan Street and Park Avenue. Dabney-Donovan said the chase ended with the help of the Hollywood Police Department. No other details about the suspect were immediately released.

Caught on Camera: Man on personal watercraft leads FWC officers on chase
BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. Authorities have arrested a man who they said led Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers on a high speed chase Monday night on the waters off South Florida. FWC officers said they stopped a man identified as Eric Tukes on a personal watercraft who fled from their marine patrol unit around 8 p.m. after he led them on the chase that stretched from Broward to Miami-Dade County. According to FWC, the incident began as a manatee zone infraction when Tukes suddenly took off. Hallandale Beach Mayor Joy Cooper told Local 10 the chase ended up behind her home. Tukes reportedly ditched the watercraft and took off on foot, which is when Hallandale Beach police officers patrolling the area took him into custody.
2 men sought in connection with shooting outside Chase bank in Pembroke Pines
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Pembroke Pines police are searching for two men who were involved in an armed robbery this week outside a Chase bank. The robbery was reported just before 9 p.m. Monday outside the Chase bank branch at 711 N. University Drive. The Pembroke Pines Police Department’s SWAT and K-9 units responded to the scene after the shooting, but the culprits weren’t found. Detectives believe the crooks could have been involved in two similar armed robberies that occurred in Hollywood just prior to the Pembroke Pines incident. The FBI believes this man robbed a Chase branch on Hollywood Boulevard and a Bank of America branch on Stirling Road. HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - The FBI is trying to identify a man who robbed a pair of banks Friday in Hollywood. FBI Special Agent Michael Leverock said the same man is believed to have robbed a Chase branch on Hollywood Boulevard and a Bank of America branch on Stirling Road within an hour Friday afternoon. Leverock said there were customers in both banks when the man implied he had a gun and demanded money from the employees.
