FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Big City Tavern in Fort Lauderdale is preparing to close its doors after 25 years in business.
The restaurant announced the closure Friday in an Instagram Story, saying its final day will be Sept. 30.
Big City Tavern, located at 609 E. Las Olas Blvd., is encouraging customers to stop by before the restaurant closes and thanked the guests, employees and community who have supported it over the years.
“As we prepare to close our doors, we’re raising a glass to the guests, team members and community who made Big City Tavern what it is,” the restaurant wrote. “Join us for one last bite.”
The restaurant did not provide a reason for the closure in their post.
