The Local 10 Day of Giving will have our news team fanned out at select area Publix stores, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., encouraging viewers to donate nonperishable food items and new, unwrapped toys. Come and meet our Local 10 team as you shop for those in need this holiday season.

Glory House of Miami is an organization devoted to healing and restoring the lives of those who have suffered the abuse and exploitation of sex trafficking.

Epilepsy Foundation of Florida Purple Hat Parade

Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Purple Hat Parade is an awareness and fundraising event benefitting the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida and the 375,000 Floridians living with epilepsy.

Cost: Free to participants and their pets with a $20 donation requested for prize eligibility

Diwali-Festival of Lights Program
Broward County Convention Center

Time: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Diwali is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists alike. The event expects to receive 10,000 attendees from all corners of the world. There will be more than 450 performers and 80 vendors.

Cost: $10 presale and $12 at the gate. Children 3 and under are free.

Sunday, Nov. 22

Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church Concert Series

Time: 4 p.m.

Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church invites music lovers of all ages and preferences to its 2015-16 concert series featuring musicians in a variety of genres, from classical to jazz and everything in between. On Nov. 22, the Matthew Martin Organ Concert will delight attendees inside the church's sanctuary.
