It features nearly 250 exhibitors sharing information on after-school and enrichment programs, pre-K registration, programs for children with special needs, KidCare outreach, nutrition education, injury prevention and other vital community services, against a colorful backdrop of face-painting, karate-kicking and storybook-reading.

Created in partnership with the local arts community and DWNTWN Art Days, ARTSLAUNCH2016 is a FREE annual celebration to kick off South Florida's arts season and celebrate the Center's official box office opening. It includes workshops, kids' activities, tours and much more. On that day, the public will also have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to more than 50 shows for the Arsht Center's 11th season.

Exercise your heart walking for a good cause. Since the hospital opened in 1962, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped increase the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent. Help St. Jude patients and kids all over the world. All runners will receive a finisher medal.

Presented by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), this 4,000-square-foot nationally traveling exhibit offers a local, global and historical view of the many costs and consequences of drugs on society. It's designed to open the eyes to the science behind drug addiction and the damaging impact of illegal drugs. It provides youth and adults a unique learning opportunity and a chance to be part of the solutions in their communities.
