The Association has made The Longest Day a team event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's research. The Longest Day spanned 16 hours and symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers.

Participants were able to create their own experience as they raised funds and engaged in activities they love to honor someone facing the disease.

Activities included playing cards, bowling, hiking, cooking, crafting and many others.Ā  Teams were only limited by their imaginations.

Individuals, companies and organizations are invited to partner with The Longest Day to honor those facing Alzheimer's disease and to raise funds and awareness in the fight.Ā For more information, call the Alzheimer's Association at 800-272-3900 or visit alz.org.Ā

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. The Longest Day supports its mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Its vision is a world without Alzheimer's.Ā
