Scarlett Johansson has 'Rough Night' in Miami; plenty of Father's Day deals

Dierks Bentley brings his What the Hell World Tour to the Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre on Saturday at 7 p.m. in West Palm Beach.



Cuban-American singer Willy Chirino will hold a Father's Day concert at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium. The concert begins Sunday at 7 p.m.



Several movies are opening this weekend, so there are plenty of choices for dad.

Miami is the setting for the ensemble comedy "Rough Night." Scarlett Johansson plays a soon-to-be-married bride who reunites with four friends from college for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Along the way, a stripper is killed.

In "47 Meters Down," Mandy Moore plays one of two sisters vacationing in Mexico when they become trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean. Think of this as a submerged version of "Jaws."

Last but not least, "All Eyez On Me" is the biopic of rapper Tupac Shakur. Demetrius Shipp Jr. bears an uncanny resemblance to the deceased rap star, who was gunned down in Las Vegas in 1996.

The Atlanta Blaze visit the Florida Launch in Major League Lacrosse action this Saturday at 7 p.m. at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton.

"Girls Only: The Secret Comedy of Women" is a two-woman act that celebrates the honor, truth, humor and silliness of being female.

The sketch comedy show will go on all weekend at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale. Friday's show begins at 7:30 p.m. There will be two shows Saturday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday's show begins at 1 p.m.

Jungle Island is offering free admission for dads on Saturday and Sunday. Regular park admission is $39.95 per adult and $32.95 for children ages 3 to 10.


Lamborghinis, Ferraris and other exotic cars will be on display this Father's Day at CityPlace Doral. The event is from noon to 6 p.m.



Speaking of cars, dads will get to race for free on the go-kart race track when they bring their kids to Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale. Dads will receive a free pro race session, a complimentary one-day race license and a souvenir Coca-Cola cup with a fountain drink.

Dads looking to milk Father's Day for all its worth should make their families take them to breakfast at McDonald's and lunch or dinner at Duffy's Sports Grill.

McDonald's is inviting dads to enjoy a free breakfast sandwich with their choice of a small orange juice, coffee or soft drink at participating restaurants in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Dads must be accompanied by their children.


Duffy's is offering a 12-ounce New York strip steak with two sides for $19.99 on Father's Day. Dads will also receive a complimentary pint of beer. Whoever pays the bill will earn a $10 MVP bonus on their next visit.
