MIAMI – Those dusty VHS tapes you have sitting in the basement could actually be worth something.
Some VHS tapes are now collectible, according to The Mirror.

Well, not all of them, of course. But some rare VHS tapes have been sold for big money.
A British antique site, LoveAntinues, has a list of the most valuable titles which top out at $2,150!
“It’s interesting to see how certain VHS tapes have increased in value over the last 50 years or so,” said Will Thomas managing director at LoveAntiques.com.
The rarer tapes, particularly horror movies, are the most valuable. Condition matters, too.
So, if you're like most people -- with boxes of old VHS tapes collecting spider webs -- you may want to clean them off and take a second look.
