Sufficiency Rating – uses a scale from 0 -100 with 100 being best condition. Based on a formula that considers the condition of the bridge (55%), the functionality of the bridge (30%) and the essentiality for public use (15%).
Functionality – lane widths of structure, lane widths of approaching roadway, shoulder width, deck geometry, vertical clearance, deck condition
Essentiality for public use – Detour length, average daily traffic, roadway designation
