FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 39-year-old man accused of plotting to kill his wife, her mother and her brother was back in court Wednesday as his bond was reduced.
Jason Simione, 39, was back before the magistrate judge Wednesday afternoon because the Broward state attorney amended the charges against him.
"All we did was change two charges," according to the prosecutor. "The three counts of solicitation to commit first degree murder stayed the same. We changed throwing destructive device to possession of destructive device. We also changed child abuse to culpable negligence."
Simione's bond was reduced from $5 million to $3 million.
