TAMPA – More than a dozen people were rescued from a Busch Gardens roller coaster in Tampa as severe storms rolled through the area.
At least 16 people were rescued Wednesday from the "Cheetah Hunt" coaster at Busch Gardens, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.

Fire crews were able to rescue riders that were stuck at the top of the course, which reaches 100 feet.
Fire crews said no one was hurt when the roller coaster stopped.
Crews said they were concerned about the weather. According to meteorologists, there was heavy rain and wind in the area.
No additional information has been reported.
