Police: Group ransacks Country Club of Miami

Men drive tractors, damage machinery


MIAMI – Miami-Dade Police is searching for a group of men who burglarized a country club in Miami.

The suspects broke into Country Club on Miami at 6801 NW 186 St.

Detectives said the men jumped a link fence that led into the golf maintenance hangar area.

They were caught on surveillance cameras recklessly driving tractors throughout the property and damaging machinery.

Police said the suspects tried to break into the hangar by using a shovel to pry a lift door open.

After a failed attempt, the men jumped over the link fence and got away, according to the report.

An investigation is underway.
