BOCA RATON, Fla. – Madison Keys, 19, is taking the Australian Open by storm, shocking the world by upsetting Venus Williams to advance to the semifinals.
One place they're not shocked, although they are very excited, is at the Evert Tennis Academy in Boca Raton. That's where Keys trained with Mandy Wilson and a number of coaches for years.

Wilson says Keys is also a standout off the court. She says Keys loves baking and used to bake treats for people at the academy.
One of the qualities Wilson loves the most about Keys is her fearlessness, and she loves the example Keys is setting for others there.
"She's been very, very adamant that her goal was to be No. 1 in the world," Wilson says.
