POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man believed to be responsible for at least two other gas station robberies held up a 7-Eleven in Pompano Beach early Monday morning, deputies said.
The robbery was reported just after 5 a.m. at 2391 N. Dixie Highway.
Surveillance video showed two men, wearing dark clothing and black bandanas covering their mouths, entering the store.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said one of the robbers waved a handgun at the clerk and demanded money.
Deputies believe that the gun-wielding robber is the same man who robbed a BP gas station July 7 in Pembroke Pines and a 7-Eleven in Davie on July 8.
He wore a yellow bandana over his mouth in the first two robberies.
Deputies said the men may have driven off in a two-tone vehicle that was seen outside the store.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
