WEST PARK, Fla. – A man was caught on surveillance video breaking through a wall to steal money from an ATM inside a West Park business.
The burglary was reported shortly before 1 a.m. Aug. 3 at a Fast Payday Loans.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said the thief cut his way into the business through a wall adjacent to an ATM. A few hours later, he crawled through the hole and attempted to cut and pry open the sides of the ATM.
The crook eventually used a concrete parking block to hit the ATM from the back and dislodge the money dispenser.
