Mike Pence to speak at campaign event in West Miami

Donald Trump speaks to crowd in Ohio Friday

WEST MIAMI, Fla. – Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke to a crowd in Ohio on Friday, where polls show he is leading in that critical battleground state.

Meanwhile, his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, is preparing for an event Friday night in South Florida.

Trump's running mate had a line of people waiting to see him at the West Miami campaign event.

"Mike Pence brings stability to Trump’s team," supporter Juan Arceo said.

"We think it’s time for this country to change direction," Hector Cabouli added.

Pence is part of the Trump campaign's get-out-the vote blitz in the run-up to Tuesday's election, in the states the campaign considers critical to win.

He comes to the heart of Cuban exiles as Trump's conservative ballast.

"He picked Mike Pence because Mike Pence has no garbage, no baggage," Gloria Cabouli said.

"He brings family, God (and) conservative policies," Tom Butler said.
