Hialeah men arrested after manhunt in Martin County

Deputies say pair hid from them in woods

STUART, Fla. – Two men from Hialeah were arrested early Thursday morning in Martin County after a manhunt.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office said Fredy De Alejo, 25, and Lisbel Murillo, 33, were first spotted parked outside a shopping center about 2 a.m.

When deputies approached the men, they ran into the woods.

A sheriff's helicopter later found the men hiding in the bushes.

Deputies said a ski mask, bolt cutter, binoculars and other tools were found in their car. None of the businesses at the shopping center were burglarized.

De Alejo and Murillo face charges of possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest without violence and loitering and prowling.
