Coral Springs police seek man who stole handgun from officer's vehicle

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police are searching for a man they said was captured on surveillance video after burglarizing a police officer's vehicle.

Police did not say when the incident occurred, but said that the officer's handgun was stolen from the vehicle.

Police said surveillance video from a Walmart in Lauderdale Lakes shows the thief entering the store, where the victim's credit card was used.
