Coral Springs police searching for missing twin girls

Rickhia and Nicolette McClam missing since Tuesday night

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police are searching for twin sisters missing since Tuesday morning.

Rickhia and Nicolette McClam, 12, were last seen in the area of Northwest 85th Avenue and Northwest 35th Street.

Police say the girls never showed up at school after leaving to get on the bus.

The girls, who live with their father, are believed to be runaways and could be heading to New York City where their mother lives.

"Right now, I just want my daughters to come home," the girls' father, Ricky McClam, said. "I'm hurt. I just want them to come home -- that's it. I'm not angry, I'm not upset. I just want my daughters to come home."

The girls' grandmother also had a message for them.

"Ricky, Nikki, please come home," Gwen McClam said. "Grandma, Grandaddy, everybody, your daddy, everybody is worried about you guys. Please come home. Please just come home, OK?"

Both girls are approximately 5 foot 2 inches tall, weigh 105 lbs and have long dark hair with brown eyes.

If anyone has seen them or knows their whereabouts please contact the non-emergency CSPD number 954-344-1800, Attention: Detective Michelle Kull.
