According to an arrest report, the business owner told officers that he was alerted Tuesday by his alarm company about a possible intrusion into his property.

The owner said he arrived at his business Wednesday morning, viewed his surveillance video and saw a man on a bicycle riding into the parking lot.

Police said the man, later identified as Alejandro Gonzalez, 36, was carrying a backpack and scaled the western fence of the Ā business.

The video then shows Gonzalez ransacking all of the vehicles in the parking lot, authorities said.

Gonzalez was arrested Wednesday after an officer spotted him trying to open a vehicle in the area of West 16th Avenue and 31st Place, the arrest report said.

The officer confronted Gonzalez and asked him whether the vehicle he was trying to open belonged to him.

Police said Gonzalez told the officer it did not and quickly said, "I never touched that vehicle, officer."

The officer noted in the arrest report that he noticed that Gonzalez was wearing similar clothing to the person who burglarized the vehicles the previous day and had the same tattoos.Ā

Gonzalez was arrested on charges of loitering or prowling and burglary.Ā
