Police chase ends in multicar crash in Hialeah

Authorities say no one was seriously hurt

HIALEAH, Fla. – A driver wanted in several burglaries crashed a car into several vehicles as Miami-Dade police pursued the black BMW through Hialeah, authorities said.

The crash, which involved three vehicles, happened around 6:30 p.m. at East Eighth Avenue and East 32nd Street.

After the crash, one woman limped from her car while another driver was seen pulling a small child from the wreck.

A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said no one was seriously hurt in the crash. Police said the pursuit started in North Bay Village.

The suspect, who was not identified, was taken into custody.
