HIALEAH, Fla. - Two men were arrested Friday morning in connection with a robbery in Hialeah.
Hialeah police Sgt. Carl Zogby said Kevin Ray, 19, and Calvin Foster, 22, are accused of snatching a 69-year-old woman's purse as she was getting out of her vehicle Tuesday in front of her home in the 300 block of West 48th Street.

According to an arrest report, Foster approached the woman as she sat in the driver's seat of her vehicle, snatched her purse and "violently began to tug on the purse."
Police said Ray eventually overpowered the victim and took her purse.
The victim suffered a large cut to her left forearm during the struggle, authorities said.
Authorities said the thieves drove away after the robbery in a burgundy Hyundai Elantra, and were found Friday morning driving the same car.
Detectives said Ray provided a taped confession and implicated Foster as the person who snatched the victim's purse.
Zogby said surveillance video shows the men following the victim's Chevrolet Malibu from the Regions Bank at 2899 W. Fourth Ave. in Hialeah after she had just withdrawn $500.
Zogby said they were also captured on surveillance video using the victim's credit card at a gas station at 1699 NW 119th St. in Miami.
The men are suspected of similar crimes by other agencies, which will be following up with them now that they are in custody, Zogby said.
The suspects each face charges of burglary with assault or battery, aggravated battery on a person 65 or older and strong-arm robbery.
