MIAMI — Miami Mayor Francis Suarez extended his state of emergency declaration on Tuesday during the coronavirus pandemic.
Suarez has been renewing the emergency declaration, which allows for the city to perform “extraordinary” actions, since March 12.
The city’s two programs to help small businesses started on Monday. One program has $400,000 in grants to help about 40 microbusinesses and $600,000 in loans.
