Baptist Health to offer 12,000 COVID-19 vaccine appointments starting Friday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Baptist Health will launch an online appointment scheduling platform starting Friday with accommodations for 12,000 slots for those 65 and over and other high-risk individuals to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

A press release from Baptist Health South Florida stated that those 65 years of age and old and also high-risk members of the community, will be able to book an appointment starting Friday.

The website is Baptisthealth.net.

Those who get an appointment will receive a time slot for distribution that will start Monday.

“We expect to continue to add availability as we add additional locations in the coming weeks,” the release stated. “The light at the end of the tunnel is shining just a little brighter.  In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to take proper safety precautions as we push forward in this fight.”
