Detectives believe the suspect, Jesús Hernández, and the victim had a dispute a few days prior in which the victim told Hernández that he no longer wanted him in his house.

Quintana said Hernández made death threats to his brother-in-law before following through with those threats Tuesday morning.

He now faces a first-degree murder charge.

No other details about the incident have been released.
