BSO deputies, bomb squad investigate possible shooting in Tamarac

TAMARAC, Fla. – Detectives are investigating a possible shooting in Tamarac that occurred Tuesday morning, authorities said.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, 911 dispatchers received a call about shots being fired just before 9 a.m. near the 8100 block of Northwest 73rd Avenue.

Authorities said deputies responded to the shooting call and were at the scene investigating the incident.

Sky 10 flew over the scene around 10:25 a.m. where deputies and a bomb squad unit were searching around a home in the area.

There have been no injuries or arrests reported at this time.
