COOPER CITY, Fla. – No one won Monday night’s $1.55 billion top Powerball prize, but a shopper in South Florida is now $2 million richer — before taxes, anyway.

That’s because a shopper at a Cooper City Publix matched every number but the Powerball.

The lucky winner bought the ticket at the Publix Super Market at Cooper City Commons, located at 9359 Sheridan St., near Pine Island Road.

The $1 million listed prize is doubled to $2 million because he or she chose the Power Play multiplier option.

Monday’s winning numbers were 16, 34, 46, 55 and 67, with a Powerball of 14.

With no top prize winner, Wednesday’s jackpot has increased to an eye-popping $1.725 billion.
