DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Deputies in Broward County are investigating after a juvenile was shot on Monday.
It happened at approximately 7:37 p.m. near the 4000 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue in Deerfield Beach.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find a juvenile who had been shot.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue rushed the teen to a local hospital with serious injuries.
A man was detained by deputies, they said, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
