Andry Alberto Torres, 37, and Cristian Franchi Torres, 26, were arrested on Dec 20.

All three suspects face charges of home invasion robbery with a firearm. Cristian Torres also faces an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.

According to Sosa’s arrest report, the home invasion robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 in the 300 block of East 11th Street.

Hialeah police said the victim briefly walked outside his apartment and left his front door unlocked.

When he re-entered his apartment, he was confronted by Cristian and Andry Torres, who were both armed with handguns and wearing masks and gloves, authorities said.

Police said the duo pointed their guns at the victim and demanded $10,000 in cash.

According to the arrest report, the victim yelled for help, at which time Cristian Torres punched him in the abdominal area, pistol-whipped him in the hand and then covered the victim’s mouth with his hand.

Police said Cristian Torres held the victim at gunpoint as Andry Torres ransacked the victim’s home.

Andry Torres also demanded the victim’s keys to his utility closet that was located outside the apartment, authorities said.

According to the report, the suspects were inside the victim’s home for nearly an hour and stole about $2,200 in cash, two guns, a cellphone, a gold necklace with a Santa Barbara pendant and the spare house key before fleeing through the rear alleyway.

Police said surveillance video shows the duo getting into a newer model Audi Q3 SUV with a white squared marking on the windshield.

According to the report, the vehicle is registered to Sosa’s girlfriend who told detectives that he is the only other person who drives her vehicle.

Police said cellphone records show Sosa was communicating with the other suspects immediately after the home invasion robbery.

According to the report, additional surveillance footage shows Sosa driving the other suspects to their home, entering their residence and then driving Andry Torres to pick up his car, which was left a block away.

Police said Sosa invoked his rights not to speak with detectives.

All three suspects were being held without bond, as of Wednesday afternoon.
