Jail records show Pierre Mendes Alcindor faces one count each of aggravated assault with a firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, unlawfully discharging a firearm from a public place or residential property, along with three counts of threatening or influencing a public servant.
Deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriffās Office said they responded to two separate reports of gunfire ā one near Ives Dairy Road and Northeast 15th Avenue and another in a nearby condominium parking lot on Tuesday.
At both scenes, deputies said they found spent shell casings but no injuries or property damage.
Investigators used surveillance video to identify a suspect vehicle and Alcindor as the driver.
In one video from his condominium complex, detectives said Alcindor could be seen walking away from an SUV, pulling a handgun from his waist or pocket, and firing into the air near a group of people.
He then returned to the SUV and appeared to point the gun at the building, where a woman later told investigators he aimed the weapon directly at her as she stood on a fourth-floor walkway, the report stated.
Deputies said returned to the complex a day later after receiving another report of gunfire on Thursday morning, where they found Alcindor standing outside his black Mercedes ML350 ā the same SUV tied to the earlier incidents.
They said he was taken into custody without incident.
Inside the SUV, deputies said they found multiple loaded weapons ā including three handguns, two shotguns and a semi-automatic rifle ā along with spent shell casings and loose ammunition.
A green leafy substance that smelled like marijuana was also found in the SUVās center console, according to the report.
Deputies said Alcindor invoked his right to remain silent during questioning. However, while being transported to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, they said he made threats to kill or seriously harm three deputies involved in his arrest.
The case remains under investigation.
Records show Alcindor remains at TGK on a $12,150 bond as of Friday afternoon.
