Road rage driver leaves behind bloody 72-year-old woman in Broward

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Ellen Garrett said she was still in pain on Friday and she wants the reckless culprit caught so he doesn’t hurt anyone else.

The 72-year-old Broward County resident said a road rage driver was speeding and following her on Wednesday in Coral Springs.

“I see him weaving in and out, so I was trying to get away from him,” Garrett said.

The aggressive driver caught up to her at Coral Ridge Drive and Sample Road, and she said it all happened so fast that when she started bleeding she thought that she had been shot.

It turned out the man threw a rock at her.

 “I could have been killed,” Garrett said.

The Coral Springs Police Department was investigating the case.
