MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A large sinkhole at the intersection of Northwest 79th Street and 30th Avenue has swallowed part of the roadway, leaving a tractor-trailer and a white sedan stuck and forcing nearby roads to close Wednesday afternoon.

Several roads leading to the intersection are closed due to the sinkhole.

Video taken when crews first arrived shows a large tractor-trailer sunken into the roadway. A hole with water underneath the trailer can also be seen.

Sky 10 video also shows the front tire of a white sedan sunken into the road near the tractor-trailer.

The sinkhole has also stopped Green Line trains in both directions at the Earlington Heights Station.

County workers and deputies have not yet provided additional information about what caused the roadway to collapse.
