Dogs roaming along I-95 in Miami cause traffic tie-up

Roaming dogs, some of them puppies, climb through hole in barrier wall

MIAMI – A stranger-than-usual reason forced traffic to slow to a halt Monday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Miami.

A group of dogs, some of them puppies, were playing in the bushes alongside the busy highway in the northbound lanes near Northwest 62nd Street.

Drivers stopped on the shoulder to corral the dogs, but they had no luck as the dogs kept running down the road.

Sky 10 saw one dog trying to cross the expressway before turning back.

The dogs eventually returned to their nearby neighborhood by crawling through a hole in the barrier wall.
