Cheesy Pizza Dip

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1½ cups shredded parmesan, divided

1 cup ricotta

½ cup sour cream

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ cup dried oregano

heavy pinch chili flake

½ pound Italian sausage, cooked through and crumbled

1 large jar of your favorite marinara sauce

2 cups grated mozzarella

For topping:

Black olives, sliced thin

Red bell peppers, cut in thin, short strips (julienned)

Red onion, cut in thin, short strips (julienned)

Pepperoni, if desired

For serving:

Baguette, cut on a bias and toasted until golden brown

Preheat your oven to 375˚F.

Stir together the cream cheese, half of the parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, sour cream, garlic and onion powder. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Spread the mixture into a pie plate. Top with cooked and crumbled sausage. Add a layer of marinera over the sausage. Top the marinera with remaining parmesan. Sprinkle veggies or peperoni over the top. Bake until warmed through and bubbly. Broil the dip for a few minutes to get extra color on the top if desired.
