MIAMI – Chris Bosh had a message for his Heat teammates as they prepared for their first postseason practice: Cherish this moment.
The Heat star, who has been out since the all-star break after reportedly suffering another recurrence of a blood clot, wanted his teammates to enjoy the experience he won’t be able to enjoy on the floor.

Players said they heard Bosh’s message loud and clear, but they also made sure to point out that Bosh is still a key member of the team even if he’s not playing.
Perhaps no one is enjoying the moment more than point guard Goran Dragic who says he’s “like a kid with a new toy.”
Dragic hasn’t played in the postseason since playing a reserve role on the 2010 Suns.
This time around, he’s ready to make a bigger impact.
Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra announced on Friday that Hassan Whiteside will start against the Hornets in game 1 on Sunday.
