During Saturday's Heat Family Festival head coach Erik Spoelstra said Waiters, "was in the locker room doing treatment pretty much all night (Friday) and then early (Saturday) morning. We got on it right away but we'll just have to see how it progresses from here. I think it's too early to tell right now to put a timeline on it."

Wayne Ellington is expected to start in place of the injured Waiters Sunday against the Blazers.

The Heat entered Sunday holding on to the seventh playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
