Miami, Chippewas to meet for first time in school history

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami will host Central Michigan in a non-conference game at Hard Rock Stadium on Sept. 21, 2019.

The Hurricanes announced the addition to the 2019 schedule Monday.

Miami will face the Chippewas for the first time in school history.

Central Michigan lost to Tulsa 55-10 in last season's Miami Beach Bowl at Marlins Park.

Miami is 5-0 all-time against schools from the Mid-American Conference.

The Hurricanes will open the 2019 season against Florida on Aug. 31 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

They also have future non-conference games scheduled with Louisiana State (2018), Michigan State (2020 and 2021) and Texas A&M (2022 and 2023).
