LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – If you can't imagine a family vacation that doesn't include your dog, Disney World has some good news.
For the first time ever, the Walt Disney World resort will allow dogs at some of its hotels.

Beginning Sunday, Oct. 15, the following Disney hotels will welcome dogs, but will also charge an additional nightly pet-cleaning rate
- Disney's Art of Animation Resort ($50/night)
- Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort ($50/night)
- Disney's Yacht Club ($75/night)
- Cabins at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort ($50/night)
All rooms will have access to outdoor pet walkways.
When checking in to each resort, dog owners will receive a welcome kit for their pets that includes a mat, bowls for food and water, tag, disposable waste bags, puppy pads and dog walking mats.
A maximum of two dogs will be allowed in each room.
