Groundhog Day predictions about the coming of spring put the spotlight on Punxsutawney Phil every Feb. 2.

Punxsutawney Phil has forecasted an early spring from the largest and best-known Groundhog Day celebration in the United States at an overcast Gobbler’s Knob in western Pennsylvania.

“Groundhog Day” is back.

He gets most of the PR, at least nationally, but Punxsutawney Phil isn't the only groundhog to purport to predict the weather.

A furry critter in a western Pennsylvania town has predicted six more weeks of winter during an annual Groundhog Day celebration.
