Comedian Freddie Roman, the former dean of The Friars Club and a staple of the Catskills comedy scene, has died.

Actor Ray Liotta, known best for his unforgettable performance as Henry Hill in "Goodfellas," died while in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming a movie, according to his publicist.

They both carved out sterling reputations as military and political leaders over years of public service.

Katie Couric, in a new memoir called “Going There,” writes of feeling betrayed by Matt Lauer following the sexual misconduct accusations that led to his firing at the “Today" show in 2017.

Couric dishes on Matt Lauer, Martha Stewart, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Leslie Moonves, Louis CK, Jeff Zucker, her former nanny and her own family.

King published a memoir in the early 1980s, “Billie Jean King: The Autobiography,” but says she rushed it out at the urging of her then-manager, who was concerned about her finances in the wake of her outing.

State health Commissioner Kathleen Toomey urged residents to continue wearing masks, practicing social distancing and washing their hands frequently. Health care officials are currently vaccinating health care workers, first responders and those living in long-term care facilities —all people in the highest-priority groups for getting doses. In the first phase, priority was given to health care workers and residents and staff at nursing homes and other long-term care facilities. Cuomo says hospitals need to do a better job of vaccinating the health care workers who are eligible now. Only health care workers and nursing home residents and staff members are currently being vaccinated in New York.

Veteran talk show host Larry King, who was recently hospitalized with COVID-19, has been moved out of the intensive care unit at a Los Angeles hospital and is breathing on his own, a spokesman said on Monday. King was moved to the ICU on New Year's Eve and was receiving oxygen but is now breathing on his own, said David Theall, a spokesman for Ora Media, a production company formed by King. The 87-year-old broadcasting legend shared a video phone call with his three sons, Theall said. He and his sons thank everyone for the outpouring of support and can't wait to get him home. (CNN) - Larry King is seeking to end his marriage to his seventh wife. The 85-year-old former CNN host filed for divorce from Shawn King, 59, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, according to paperwork obtained by CNN. He and Shawn King have two sons, Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19. It's the second time Larry King has sought to end the marriage. He filed for divorce from the former singer and TV presenter back in 2010, but withdrew his petition after the pair reconciled.
