MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. – A tow truck driver in Martin County told investigators that the man who is accused of killing Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Bullock on Wednesday morning was upset over having to pay for the towing service. Trooper Joseph Bullock was killed Wednesday in a shooting at a I-95 rest stop in Martin County. Riviera Beach Police Officer Jemel Headings was off-duty when he saw Bullock was in trouble and pulled over to help him. The “Riviera Beach police officer, who was passing by, engaged the suspect fatally shooting him," FHP Col. Gene Spaulding said. DaWayne Watson, a firefighter-paramedic with the Riviera Beach Fire-Rescue Department, was on his way home when he saw Bullock was bleeding.

Martin Co. Sheriff's Office(CNN) - One person died after a plane crashed Friday afternoon at the Stuart Air Show in Florida, according to National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Peter Knudson. The Federal Aviation Administration said the Grumman OV-1 Mohawk crashed at Witham Field at around 1:15 p.m. The Martin County Sheriff's Office tweeted a photo of the turboprop plane and emergency responders. On the Stuart Air Show Facebook page, officials wrote: "We've had an incident involving one of our aircraft. All local and federal agencies are on site and investigating so that we may ensure the safety of our airshow before we continue."

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. - A small plane made an emergency landing Friday morning in Martin County. Martin County Fire Rescue crews and Martin County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene on Federal Highway south of Bridge Road. Deputies said the private plane did a belly landing on Federal Highway with the gear up after experiencing suspected engine failure. "It was a rather hard landing, however, there are no injuries," the Martin County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page. Authorities said three people were on board the plane.
