OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – One person is dead after a Brightline train crashed into a Maserati on the railroad tracks Thursday morning in Oakland Park, causing a fire. A view from Sky 10 showed the train stopped on the tracks. David Rafter, a spokesman for the city of Oakland Park, said the Maserati went around the arms of the railroad crossing and was struck by the oncoming train. Local 10 News reporter Ian Margol said the driver was trying to beat a freight train traveling south and didn't see the Brightline train traveling north. The driver of the Maserati was pronounced dead at the scene.

TRENTON, Fla. – A Florida man cut off the penis of another man he caught having sex with his wife earlier this year. Deputies said Alex Bonilla, 49, broke into his neighbor's Gilchrist County mobile home Sunday and threatened the victim, saying he would kill the man if he resisted. The victim said Bonilla then tied him up and cut off his penis with a pair of scissors. According to the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office, the unidentified victim was able to get free and escaped the home with the "severed penis in his possession." The victim told deputies Bonilla had caught him having sex with Bonilla's wife in May.

The company sells its eggs to numerous retailers around the country, including Walmart and Publix. ARM officials said an undercover investigator, who is a retired U.S. Army serviceman, captured surveillance footage of battery-caged hens over a two-month period. Some small cages contained up to 10 birds and "walls of cockroaches" were spotted within the cages, officials said. The undercover investigator said he witnessed the hens being tortured by being kicked, punched, thrown and slammed on the ground.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A homeless man, who said he is a Navy veteran, helped rescue a driver after a crash Thursday afternoon in Pembroke Pines. According to Pembroke Pines police, the driver of a white Chevrolet Cavalier attempted to turn at the intersection in the 200 block of Douglas Road when it collided with a Dodge Charger. "I just turned it on and go sprinting to the vehicle," WIlson said. "If we're going to die, we're going to die together," Travis Wilson told Local 10 News. "If we're going to die, we're going to die together."

The single-engine Piper PA-28 made the emergency landing on a levee about two miles west of U.S. Highway 27. Two people standing next to the plane appeared to be OK. A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman later confirmed that there were no injuries. Local 10 News reporter Ian Margol said a flight student and instructor were flying back to North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines when the engine quit. The director of operations for Wayman American Flight Training said he's happy to see them both safely on the ground. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Four people were taken into custody Wednesday after a bailout in northwest Miami-Dade County. Local 10 News spoke to the victim, who said that the SUV was stolen Tuesday from outside his job in North Miami. Williams said he used the phones' GPS to track his vehicle to the area of Northwest Second Avenue and Northwest 52nd Street. All suspects were taken into custody after a brief search. "I'm saddened that it was, I have to say, they're my own people that have stolen from me," Williams said.
