The Broward Sheriff’s Office had been searching for the parents or guardian of the little girl after she had been spotted in the Somerset apartments just before 10 a.m. in Lauderdale Lakes. At around 6 p.m., the Broward Sheriff’s Office came in contact with the girl’s mother. Fortunately, Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) deputies had found her in good spirits this morning and in good health. She was soon brought over to the BSO headquarters as they spent the afternoon searching for her parents’ or guardian’s whereabouts.

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Pembroke Pines police have located two girls who were last seen jumping the fence at their school Tuesday. Ilya Campo, 12, and Rylee Layne, 11, were both wearing their school uniforms consisting of navy blue polo shirts and blue skirts when they were seen leaving campus at Franklin Academy at 5000 Southwest 207 Terrace. Police said the girls were found around 4 p.m. in Southwest Ranches. Both were in good health, police said. It’s unclear why they left campus or what they were doing during the time authorities were searching for them.

Italian media immediately speculated the remains could belong to Orlandi or another girl who went missing at around the same time. The Vatican immediately branded the document a fake, though it never explained what it was doing in the Vatican cabinet.
