PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The same cold front that produced tornadoes across the southern U.S. is moving toward South Florida.
It will weaken significantly before it arrives, though, as severe weather is not expected to make it this far, according to Local 10 News meteorologist Brandon Orr.
Most of Sunday is quiet for us in South Florida, but expect spotty storms after sunset. Any rain moves out early Monday morning and we can enjoy the cooler, less humid weather. Looks nice! pic.twitter.com/AbyKDV1OTK

Sunday will be mostly dry during the daylight hours, but after sunset, a broken line of showers and thunderstorms will develop and move into the area.
The cold front will clear all of the rainy weather out Monday morning with cooler, less humid air rushing in.
That will set South Florida up with a nice 10 degree temperature drop for our highs, which will go from 84 degrees Sunday to 74 degrees on Monday.
