The film adaptation of the "Saturday Night Live" skit "Wayne's World" turns 25 next month, and audiences will get a chance to revisit the comedy classic on the big screen in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

Paramount Pictures is rereleasing "Wayne's World" for two nights only Feb. 7-8 at select theaters throughout the country, including South Florida.

Released on Feb. 14, 1992, "Wayne's World" follows the adventures of Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey), a pair of aimless friends whose local public access show broadcast from Wayne's basement finds a home on cable television, but all is not as it seems in the film's setting of Aurora, Illinois.

Co-starring Rob Lowe, Tia Carrere and Lara Flynn Boyle, "Wayne's World" spawned a sequel in 1993 and paved the way for several "Saturday Night Live"-inspired feature films.

The two-night screening will include a recorded conversation with director Penelope Spheeris and cast members.

Feb. 7 showings of "Wayne's World" will be at theaters in Boynton Beach and Davie, while Feb. 8 showings will be at theaters in Hialeah, Miami and Pompano Beach. Click here for a complete list of theaters and show times.
